Soups range from a house gumbo to chorizo sausage while the lineup of salads encompasses Caesar, Cobb, and steak. Sandwiches, including several po’boys, provide a bit of the Big Easy. Then there’s the barbecue, which has won raves from both foodies and critics alike. Start with the barbecue plate of andouille, smoky links and ribs, and then choose from pulled pork, beef brisket, ribs, and accompaniments like coleslaw and green beans. It’s as American as apple pie, which is also available.”
“I was very pleased with the meal that my boyfriend and I had here. I had the grilled portabella mushroom sandwich, and I swear it was one of the best sandwiches I’ve ever had. Additionally, Flatiron is just a very comfortable, cheap but nice bar and grille. And the coffee is excellent! Pros: comfortable, delicious, reasonably priced.”
